While we were having this Prayer meeting, we the members resolved that the name of our praying group be known as "Ruth Prayer Team." After sometimes we felt it was the will of God that we go to Imphal City to beg from the men of God living there. Four of us were selected for this job. Accordingly we set out for Imphal and on the first day we began our work of begging among the Paite Veng Christians. We entered every Christian home and begged.

The next day we came to Lamphelpat, one corner of town in the same city. We continued this work for three days. Owing to lack of money from our own pockets, but wishing to save as much as we had gotten from the God-fearing people, we walked on foot, walking long distances from place to place. Thus our feet blistered. When we came to one of the houses to beg, we felt ashamed and none of us was willing to go first and enter the house. However the Lord marvelously blessed our humble work and we collected from the good Christian people more than Rs.3,000/-.

Gospel Camp was held in June, 1986. Using the money we collected, the first widow camp was conducted. The Lord blessed this camp, and His presence in our midst was greatly felt in our midst. Many widows, who in former times were sellers of beer, drugs and became prostitutes repented of their sins, and accepted the Lord Jesus Christ as their personal Savior.

Some of those widows today have become sellers of vegetables, having their Bibles with them in the market places. They have given up their old ways of evil living. Tears were shed proving their repentance from their old way of living. Among the 180 participants in this Gospel Camp, about one hundred found Christ and everlasting life.  They therefore returned to their home with unspeakable joy and happiness.  Many young widows, who did not have any comfort because of their old
